Dr. Connie Kais

Dr. Connie Kais is a native of San Jose with an enduring connection to California and the Bay Area. She graduated from Presentation High School, obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Loyola Marymount University, and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. As a second-generation dentist inspired by her mother’s example, Dr. Connie has been committed to patient care since 1994. In 1998, she co-founded Arbor Dental Group with her husband, Dr. Mark Ajlouni.

Dr. Connie’s areas of clinical expertise include restorative and family dentistry. She is a certified LANAP provider, offering advanced minimally invasive laser therapy for periodontal disease. Her dedication to integrating modern, evidence-based technology with superior clinical care is evidenced by her ongoing commitment to continuing education, which enables her to stay abreast of developments in dental techniques, technology, and patient care.

Her comprehensive philosophy emphasizes that outstanding dental care involves both clinical proficiency and individualized attention. Dr. Connie believes dentistry encompasses more than treating oral health—it extends to fostering overall wellness, confidence, and genuine care for patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Connie studies her Greek heritage through engagement with language, history, and culinary traditions. She also enjoys playing the cello and recharging in Lake Tahoe’s natural surroundings. Her appreciation for culture, wellness, and meaningful interpersonal connection contributes to the welcoming atmosphere of Arbor Dental Group.
