Dr. Mark Ajlouni
Dr. Mark Ajlouni grew up in San Jose and received his Doctorate at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1995. He founded Arbor Dental Group with his wife Dr. Connie Kais in 1998. Dr. Ajlouni practices by the principle of minimally invasive dentistry and specializes in cosmetic procedures such as traditional and no-preparation veneers, all porcelain restorations and full-mouth reconstruction.
Dr. Ajlouni prides himself in not only offering exceptional dental treatment but also being able to create a professional environment from the moment a patient walks in the door. Dr. Connie Kais
Dr. Connie Kais was born and raised in San Jose and is a graduate of Presentation High School. She earned a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from Loyola Marymount University Dr. Connie Kais is a graduate of University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, one of the best in the country. Having practiced dentistry since 1994, she has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Connie is a second generation dentist, following in her mother's footsteps, Dr. Mark Ajlouni.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Connie worked with under privileged children in restoring their dental health. She brings this experience to her own dental practice which allows her to treat children with ease and great care. "It is a wonderful feeling to see a smiling child leave the office after having a great experience." It is with the same gentle approach that Dr. Connie treats her adult patients as well. "Having the opportunity to relieve a patient from either physical and/or emotional pain gives me great satisfaction. Dr. Connie has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical and root canal treatments and denture prosthetics. Dr. Sara Anwar
Dr. Sara Anwar was born in Egypt and moved to Chicago when she started college. After finishing her education, she decided to move to the golden state to enjoy sunshine and start her career there.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology, and Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011 with a recognized award for clinical excellence. As a former Clinical Assistant Professor at UIC-College of dentistry, a clinical instructor at The University of Pacific – School of Dentistry, and a current full-time private practitioner, Dr. Anwar combines her academic background with her clinical skills to provide the best comprehensive dental care to the community.
Dr. Anwar joined Arbor Dental Group in 2015. She enjoys practicing alongside Dr. Ajlouni and Dr. Connie; and as the practice grew, she joined them as a business partner.
She brings many years of clinical experience in private practice and continuously enhances her skills by enrolling in advanced continuing education courses in the various dental disciplines. She received extensive training with the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics and many more prestigious institutions. She aims to provide exceptional dental work using state-of-the-art-technology to bring out a smile her
patients can wear with confidence. Dr. Anwar is proficient in all aspects of dentistry with emphasis on oral surgery, dental implants, and gum reconstruction. Dr. Yerie Nam
Dr. Yerie Nam is a bay area native, born in San Francisco and raised in Hercules, CA. She received her bachelor's in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. From there, she went to San Francisco and graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She moved to South Bay in 2021 and is excited to learn more about the area! Dr. Nam is dedicated to providing ethical high quality care and takes many continuing education courses to ensure she is up to date with the latest technology and products available in dentistry. Dr. Nam is proficient in all aspects of dentistry but her main philosophy is preventative dentistry. She is able to provide healthy and beautiful smiles with minimally invasive dentistry. In addition to prevention of caries, she is also a believer in comprehensive care to address all concerns with a patient's oral health in relation to a patient's general health as well. The state of one's oral health can affect the state of one's general health and vice versa and so Dr. Nam is always aware of that connection and takes it into consideration when treating her patients.
